Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre was born in Canada. When she was waiting at tables, Lefevre was discovered by a Canadian film director who to her credit, was able to help the aspiring actress land her first film role. The actress later relocated into Los Angeles where she earned an recurring role on the film What About Brian (2006). While working in a Montreal sushi bar when she was a teenager, a regular customer heard about her acting aspirations and brought her in contact with the casting director. The result was her being offered on the set of a Canadian comedy. Her appearance was on numerous episodes of David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2004), which led to a lead part in the 2008 U.S. adaptation of BBC successful Life on Mars (2008). Lefevre was born in Montreal in her father's French family, although she began to learn English. The actress landed her most prestigious role in a film, which was Catherine Hardwicke's version of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight. This is the first novel in a well-known trilogy of teenage vampire novels.
